If you are still able to carry out aspects of your personal care, we will support and encourage you to continue doing so, rather than taking over tasks unnecessarily. Our approach is to assist where needed while ensuring you retain as much control over your self-care as possible.
No, our carers do not wear uniforms, although they do carry identification and wear badges. We believe that a uniformed carer can unintentionally signal that a vulnerable person lives in the home, which could compromise privacy and security. When accompanying clients outside, we dress in everyday clothing to create a more natural and discreet experience, helping clients feel independent rather than visibly appearing to be with a support worker.
