Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at stacey@we-kare.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes, we do provide personal care services. However, we strongly believe in promoting independence. If you are still able to carry out aspects of your personal care, we will support and encourage you to continue doing so, rather than taking over tasks unnecessarily. Our approach is to assist where needed while ensuring you retain as much control over your self-care as possible.

No, our carers do not wear uniforms, although they do carry identification and wear badges. We believe that a uniformed carer can unintentionally signal that a vulnerable person lives in the home, which could compromise privacy and security. When accompanying clients outside, we dress in everyday clothing to create a more natural and discreet experience, helping clients feel independent rather than visibly appearing to be with a support worker.

We provide a wide range of support services, including:

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.)
  • Assistance with medication
  • Meal preparation and nutrition support
  • Companionship and social outings and appointments
  • Household tasks and light cleaning
  • Support with appointments and errands
  • Many more...

No, not at all. It may be that you are not yet ready for support, or that our services are not the best fit for your needs. Whatever the case, we will always be honest and supportive, without any prejudice, ensuring that you receive the right care at the right time.

Yes. Throughout your time with us, we will regularly review and update your care plan to ensure it continues to meet your needs. We will also carry out regular supervisions to maintain high-quality care and provide ongoing support for both clients and carers.

Our focus is on delivering care with dignity, respect, and a personalised approach. Unlike some larger care providers, we prioritise people over profit and ensure that our clients receive consistent, high-quality support from familiar carers who truly understand their needs.
